Pastor Joe Chou, EFC San Fernando Valley

Joe was born and raised in Southern California where he started attending EFC LA in the early 1980s. After graduating from college with a history degree, Joe felt the call to full-time ministry. He graduated from Talbot School of Theology and began his full-time ministry at EFC SFV. While serving there as the English Pastor, Joe got married to Christine.

Joe returned back to EFC LA to serve as their Children's Pastor, but then returned to EFC SFV as the English pastor. Joe and Christine have three children, and in his free time he enjoys walking with his family and playing video games occasionally.

Pastor Michael Kim, Generations Church LA

Pastor Mike is a Southern California native having lived from the San Fernando Valley to San Diego, Orange County to the Inland Empire, and many parts in between. Mike and Jamie are college sweethearts and been happily married ever since. The Lord has blessed Mike and Jamie with three amazing children.

Mike’s ministry journey began in college as a volunteer college home fellowship leader. He attended seminary at Azusa Pacific University’s Haggard Graduate School of Theology, earning his Master of Divinity, was and ordained by the Evangelical Formosan Church in 2010.

When not focused on ministry, you may find him relaxing with his family, doing jigsaw puzzles, cheering for his favorite sports teams, or playing video games with his family. He is an avid Lakers fan, a UCLA Bruin at heart, and a loyal Rams fan.

Pastor Andy Kuo, Generations Church LA

Andy grew up in Cincinnati and graduated from the University of Wisconsin—Madison. After working professionally, he moved to Pasadena to attend Fuller Theological Seminary with an emphasis in youth ministry. 

He is a huge extrovert and loves cats. A big Apple geek, he likes to hang out with youth, build websites, and debate the issue of free will vs. predestination.

Pastor David Lee, Grace Bible Church

Pastor David was born in Quito Ecuador and came to SoCal when he was 16 years old. Although he attended church his whole life, he was saved and accepted Jesus Christ as His Savior and LORD in his college years.He earned an M.Div from the Talbot School of Theology, and he has been a pastor since 2005. He loves the local church. David is passionate about introducing non-believers to Christ, awakening Christians to fulfill their God given callings here on earth, and adding value to others.

He loves laughing, meeting people, playing sports, and eating out. He is married to his beautiful wife Jeanne and is the proud daddy of the love of his life, Isabella.

 

Pastor Joe Lin, EFC East Valley

Joe Lin is the English pastor at EFC East Valley. He grew up attending EFC Alhambra, and his favorite memories include going to winter retreats. He graduated from UC Berkeley in 2005 and Talbot in 2011 with a Master of Divinity, emphasis in Missions & Intercultural Studies.

His favorite passage of the Bible is the parable of the Good Samaritan, and he is constantly trying to live out what it means to “love your neighbor.”

Joe enjoys mountain biking, watching independent films, and taking trips to modern art museums. He is married to Stephanie, and they have two kids, Matty and Ellie.

 

Pastor KC Liu, EFC Irvine

KC Liu is the English Pastor at EFC Irvine. He was born in Taiwan and then immigrated to Orange County at the age of eight. He graduated from UC Irvine in 2002 with a BA in Studio Art and subsequently worked as a graphic designer. Then the Lord called him into missions work from 2005-2015.

He started Fuller Seminary in 2007 as a single man, and he graduated in 2014 as a husband and a father of three kids. Being a husband and a father is much harder than being a seminarian! His favorite quote is “A Happy Wife is a Happy Life,” and his life verse is Matthew 6:33, “Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and the rest shall be added on to you.”

His passions include traveling to the nations to experience different cultures, mobilizing the body of Christ for missions, and taking teams out to the mission field to encounter God. KC enjoys playing tennis and ping-pong, going to the theater, and watching “The Voice of China” with the wifey. He is married for life to Amy Wang, and he gives constant piggy back rides to Micah, Karis and Kaden.
